Friday June 26th at The Aberdeen Cultural Center in Moncton, TBA Collective(www.tbacollective.com) put on it’s first Multi-artist live art show featuring artists Janet Mlodecki, Ian MacMillan (aka Legasee), Pascal Leo Cormier and Andrew Robson. The artists created on four canvases, then added to one another’s creations, modifying or complimenting one anothers work.
Over a time span of 4 hours, the pieces evolved into one thing, then another. The whole process was documented with a cam-corder and this video above is the 4 hours compressed into aprox. 10 minutes showing a fastmotion version of the evening to the music of Morse Code Alphabet and ambient sample-age of Jonah Hache.
Each piece is 2′ x 4′ and is a donation to TBA Collective and is on sale for $200 each. The profits from the peices go towards Messtival ‘09.(Two were sold as far as I know)
