10. Gobble Gobble
. On Saturday, as we passed the ‘Marble Slab Creamery’ Mumble and I giggled. We were on our way to London with Bob Marley sweetly singing to us. We made it to Deb’s house
in London – Jamie (Owen’s pops) lady friend. He was there too. We were handed
Flying Monkey beers, which were delicious, entertaining and contained a special
ingredient of ‘soul’. Though this place was in the middle of a residential
neighbourhood, there just so happened to be a tennis…

9. En Route to London
The Montreal rush hour on Monday wasn’t nearly as bad as the Toronto rush hour we went through yesterday. 3 hours of stop go stop go. Our behaviour seemed to mimic that motion. Driving into Ottawa, the sun was setting. One of the most beautiful
sunsets I’ve ever seen. It resembled hot pink sand dunes – but upside down
ofcourse. Red sky at night, our delight. The Rainbow in Ottawa went pretty
well. The sound guy, Joe, was on top of s***. My best friends…

Everett Album Review- Ian Sherwood "And Now the Fun Begins"

Living in this great country of Canada we on the east coast are blessed with an
over-flowing talent pool of singer songwriters. I have been told by numerous amounts
of people that those in the Maritimes are “spoiled” by our musicians. With the
long history of great folk musicians such as Joel Leblanc, Thom Swift, David
Myles, Isaac and…

8. en route to Ottawa: part iii
Saturday we were awakened by “Rise and shine sleepyheads!” at two in the afternoon. Damn I hate sleeping in. Richard mustered up a delicious breakfast – a huge spread once again. Omelette, coffee, orange juice,
bacon, and ofcourse home made bread. I took a little tour of his antique shop
which is mostly in his house but yet to be moved into another little shed he’s
had fixed up. He came from London Ontario to start a life with someone in St.
Martins.…

7. En Route to Ottawa: part ii
Thursday Doug had to stop at Staples to make some cd covers. Inside the wonderful stationary shoppe - Owen and I stumbled upon a ‘book
sale’. How appropriate of us to stumble upon a book entitled “1,001 Great Jokes
– from the delightfully droll to the totally tasteless” which we figured would
undoubtedly help us with the awkward silent pauses on stage. We paid a loonie –
no tax – for it and the money went to the Special Olympics. Turns out…

HELLLLLLLLO?
Right now he’s driving…to Ottawa. We left Woodstock, New Brunswick, about half an hour ago – with a short pit stop at the Wal – Mart. I wonder how much they pay the little old lady to stand there and greet people
with her flashy blue smiley faced vest. We went there to get a discman adapter
for the car. Of course none of those car adapter products say ‘discman’ on them
because only 5…
