"Isn't it ironic?" laments Alanis Morissette, but living proof is soon to be displayed, for all to see, by Angela Cullins, as the lead actress in the Global Universal Inc. feature film "American Sunset". Playing alongside the reenergized Corey Haim and New York's dynamo Frank Molina in this suspense-filled thriller, written and produced by Jackie Giroux, Cullins is ecstatic. "My dream is coming true, hell it's every actor's dream, to have a lead role…

While one could gainfully argue that all beer is Feel Good Beer, Northhampton Brewing Company, famous for their Picaroons brands, is pressing the point, partnering with Fredericton's Feels Good to release their newest beer, the appropriately named "Feels Good Imperial Pilsner." The label design will be selected from entries submitted by Feelsgood.ca members.
FeelsGood.ca is a local (Fredericton) art group collective populated mainly by artists, writers and musicians. Northhampton is…

Day 12 - Penobsquis, NB
What we thought was going to be a house concert, turned out to be a house party in Penosquis
(about 5 mins from Sussex) The show was organized by our buddy Sean Hill (Backwoods
Entertainment) and was hosted by an old friend Glen Maclean and his beautiful wife-to-be
Emily. We set up in an old barn that they have converted into a bar and dance party area.
After sound check and some awesome devil sticks/juggling/hacky sack sessions, we…

FEELS GOOD ALE AND SAIL
Now for something completely different! Perhaps this will be a cure for what ales you. This may well speak to the beer wrangler in all of us. The folks at www.feelsgood.ca in conjunction with Picaroons have had an ongoing contest that closes June 21 . If you are an artistic/creative person in NB, then you may just be able to brew up the winning design for a beer label for the soon to be unveiled Picaroons Feels Good beer. The only limitation is time, not on your…

To be true to the origional ambitions and institutionalized conceptions, our friend and comrade, Thomas d Henderson, AKA Stone, decided, at the very last minute to not run me over with the car as I aproched the household to perhaps behold, Gil and Elizabith in a romantic pinical occasions due to Gils worrys and slandeverous behavior coincerning the evil selfrightousness and perhaps, the safety and well being of the vinal siding of the illusive and infamous 495 NEEDHAM. knowing such damage would…

Day 8 - L'escalier - Montreal, Que
Another early morning waking up in London, we started our trip back east with a long but smooth trip to Montreal. Driving without a map and completley on instinct and Scott's knowledge of the french language, we arrived on St Catherines Street in plenty of time for the show. The venue turns out to be a vegan sandwich shop as well as a music venue, so we were all happy to munch down on some delicious soup and sandwiches after the tim hortons we had…

Day 6 - The Local - Toronto, Ont
We wake up in Peterborough, pack up our things, stuff it all back in the Subaru, crumple up the first parking ticket of the tour and head out on our way. A brief, but uneventful run in with the off duty arm of the law later, we are back on the highway west towards the big dirty, Toronto. We timed in right and pulled into Toronto without a hitch, my…

Day #4 continued
so we're playing in Kingston at The Barnone. Its not really even our gig, its an open mic that we're playing at just so we don't have to take a night off, possibly sell some cds, make some friends. So we get there nice and early to sign up like we were told. The bartender's response was "oh yeah open mic" grabs a piece of paper for us to sign up on. Needless to say we…

I thought I would document our journey, but haven't really had the time to sit down at a computer since we've hit the road. I've been taking not enough pictures and having a really good time to say the least. just going to do a little recap for everyone's enjoyment and so we don't forget about all the crazy things and awesome people we've hung out with over the tour.
Day 1. Fitz's Bday - Forest CIty NB
