As fear fades, a slight dribble in the well, circling the drain, falling down to guilt

One asked a question that plucked god’s strands, polished by the tears of angel glands

That took with the earth, the roots that lay, the neurological complexity of gaea’s vertebrae

Kitchen

There is a smell in the kitchen,
Like stale silver oxidizing in the cupboard.
Unused, and arrogant.
You ignored the smell yesterday
At breakfast. But I
Heard you sniffing, and saw
Your nostrils a flare.

So are you going to set the mousetrap

Adjustments are posthumous, predicated and unauthorized

Misstamped mistakes are praised in retrospection

While critiqued as present day negligibility.

Awakening to damp sheets knotted tightly around my ankles

Breeds frustration in early morning reverie

We do this little ditty

in the room with the least privacy

urging the whole world of no one
