AC Rich and Scotty Sail The Country: Taking care of Buisness
Rich and i awoke to yet another bluebird day. We decided to slap on the old hiiking shoes and assault the Little beehive, a fantastic 9 km trek to the Lake agnes tea house and on to the beehive lookout. We were barajas deep in snow at points but we made it to one of the most seenic lookouts in Lake Louise. Spectacular. We were set to play Stables pub that night and after a sauna session at the hostel we made our way up the hill to one of the highest bars in Canada.

Owen Steel et al; Eh Canadian Tour blog #13 THE END!
The Long Train Home
We said goodbye to our van dwelling friends and caught the train dark and early (it wasn't bright and early because the sun wasn't up yet). We located our room and
immediately went to sleep, we were going to be on this train for 3
days, so it was time to catch up on rest.

AC Rich and Scotty Sail the Country - Long drives, windy roads, cheap motels and amazing scenery
We hauled ass from Toronto to Thunder Bay, a 16 hour stretch laiden with fod, single lane highway and long stretches of nothing. We rolled into Thunder bay early morning and Checked into the Voyager Motel right on the water, and next to the train tracks. The manager kindly gave us 25 dollars in free c***** vouchers and before we could think about it we were all passed out until later that evening. We spent the night resting up and made a short visit to the casine, no big winners but we stuck…

to get where we were going (at this stop we didn't even really know
where we were going...) so we did what has worked on the west coast
for us; found a starbucks, drank coffee and used free…

When I left off I think I was sitting in a train car in the rain.....
Our only show of the Jasper – Vancouver line was in the back car (the Gold Class), we played for a mixed crowd, literally there were infants, toddlers, kids, teen
agers, 20 somethings, 30 somethings, recent retirees and one
septuagenarian. It was a fun show, a little boy named Johnny kept
stealing the…
