We said goodbye to our van dwelling friends and caught the train dark and early (it wasn't bright and early because the sun wasn't up yet). We located our room and

immediately went to sleep, we were going to be on this train for 3

days, so it was time to catch up on rest.

Last I typed, we were rolling east in a greyhound bus towards Kamloops, I'll pick up from there. We were dropped off at the bus station, once again not having any clue of how

to get where we were going (at this stop we didn't even really know

where we were going...) so we did what has worked on the west coast

for us; found a starbucks, drank coffee and used free…

When I left off I think I was sitting in a train car in the rain.....

Our only show of the Jasper – Vancouver line was in the back car (the Gold Class), we played for a mixed crowd, literally there were infants, toddlers, kids, teen

agers, 20 somethings, 30 somethings, recent retirees and one

septuagenarian. It was a fun show, a little boy named Johnny kept

So we arrived at the Calgary bus station, Wednesday March 24, our friends Josh and Kayla came to pick us up in Kayla's truck, and we headed to Josh's place for some

acoustic jamming. We were scheduled to meet up with Brock Mitchell,

who videos bands for a series called “Shot in the Dark”. We met

Our second show of the day was in the classy section at the back of the train, we didn't think our new friends from economy were going to be able to come back and listen,

but they snuck/talked their way back without a problem.…
