Tim Chaisson’s new album “The Other Side” Review and Interview

“The Other Side” Album ReviewTim Chaisson has been playing music for as long as I can remember. Being somewhat active in the music scene in the Maritimes I had heard of the famous Chaisson family long before I heard young Tim’s music. With the new album “The Other Side” he is doing his family proud. The album is full of strong melodies and catchy choruses that will have everyone singing along.“The Other Side” is a great follow up to his last album “Broken Hearted Beat”. Chaisson does a good job…See More

Weak Size Fish "Shakedown" Everett Album Reviews

ShakedownFinally after 3 long years Weak Size Fish are releasing their new album “Shakedown.” From the first listen of the album I can tell that they have not just been sitting on the coach. Weak Size Fish seemed to burst on the East Coast music scene in 2008-2009 and have continued to play amazing shows all over the country. They had ECMA showcase shows and spots on every Atlantic music festival stage. With that being said a lot of the new tracks on “Shakedown” are live favorites that their…See More

Why is it Cool to Hate Nickelback; or is it McNickelback. The corporate rock machine that is Nickelback confuses me on multiple levels. I have spent the last few days going over information on the world’s most hated band and I found myself wondering why it is cool to hate Nickelback. Really the band has humble beginnings small town guys from Hanna Alberta who started a rock band after being in a cover band. They played countless bars, struggled to get found, released an Indie album “Curb”, had…See More

Preface to the new Everett’s Music; Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow: Reviews and personal insight of music series

In this new series I will review and discuss albums, the state of music, the business of music and my general analysis of the industry. Today’s popular music industry puts so much energy into the single and with the invention of Napster and the explosion of I tunes I fear the album is dying. I fear that songwriters and putting so much energy into making a “hit” the creation of a solid album is falling by the wayside. Sure some of the most classic albums of all time do not…

Hey Matt....great to meet you at the Hullabaloo the other night, I think all of us committee members are still recovering from exhaustion but it was so worth it in the end!! Wondering if you can let Andy know that I looked around for his glasses anywhere I thought they might be but no luck and no one turned them in either...the reason i don't spend more than $20 on shades, lol!
Also wanted to know more about the Fan Club thing you were talking about for ticket sales for DMB. Thinking that I may really need to look into this and get to a show sometime soon!!

Hey. Hat size is a tricky one because I but the FlexFits. L-XL, or about an 8 - 8 1/2. I know a lot, so my head is massive.

As far as color, black, brown, red, whatever feelsgood wants!

Thanks man!

just uploaded the logo to the event, i guess it didn't take the first time I did it. Would you need me to email it to you to get it on the main page or would just having it up there be okay now? It was a PHENOMENAL event last year and we're really hoping to get the word out and get a bigger crowd this year!!
