Darfur Event a Success!

After reading the comments on the writers discussion I though I would kick things off.

I view art as a form of personal resistance or expression and since the personal is political perhaps a bit of political commentary in this time of upheaval would not be so inappropriate.

This is a piece I wrote the other day and seeing how its a bit long winded for an editorial perhaps it could find a home here.
