Flower Fairy Lantern Lit (Detail)

Flower fairy lantern created for the 2009 Lumiere festival. The torso is from the mermaid I created in 2008, with some changes and additions. The lantern is primarily tissue paper on a bamboo and chicken wire frame, lit with tealight candles and LEDs. This is a close up of the wings and body after the lantern was lit.
