I do, actually....because everyone thinks differently...some people can only visualize potentialities, other people deal with what they see in front of them in some kind of concrete form, some people think in music or categories...I know I could never be a scientist, because I have trouble remembering things that aren't visual and I forget words and labels all the time. And I'm sure a mathematically minded person would find it strange that I associate colors with everything!

All fields of study, from cinematography to geology, from theoretical physics to professional sports commentator all depend on the use of abstract thought. Since the dawn of humanity, we have always visualized things not percieved with the five senses. I think a scientist can appreciate art just as well as an art dealer (and in my opinion, better). The Arts and Sciences share one basic thing: The Looking.

Most definaltey. I can't imagine a world without art personally. I just don't see how some people CAN'T think outside of the box or see stuff in an abstract way. I think the more Scientifically skilled person doesn't understand it...they see things as a problem or equasion....I don't know

Question; do you think that it's possible for some one to be completely unartistic, devoid of artistic thoughts ?

You should most definitely use that freedom as your inspiration....who knows where you'll go? I'm in the same boat, really...I've only just barely begun to realize what is even possible!! And its SO exciting!

Agreed! I don't know where I would be without art. I would be boring...(Not saying those who don't do it are boring) but I already am A pretty boring person but when I'm in my zone, I couldn't be bothered with anything else and I can show my feelings.

I need to open my mind up more. I have been trapped for 6 years and now I am free so I may use that as my inspiration. Freedom can be beautiful.

I guess I also want to be great. Someone who is looked back on many years from now as a great person. I don't want my light to go out when I do. I think I yearn for this but I am just recently comming to realization of it. Time will tell.

<3 Thanks for you comment

hmmmmm......this made me think

I guess........I like to play with my perception. When I create something, I'm taking a random potentiality and making it tangible. It's like taking an idea and making it real. And I'm most into the moment when I'm either dancing, hula hooping, or painting.

When I'm painting or drawing, absolutely nothing else matters except for what I'm doing at the very second....like blending!! I could sit and blend paint together for HOURS!! I don't even care what the outcome it, just blending and getting it exactly the way I want it to be....

Life is inspiring!! When I walk around sometimes I change the colors of everything around in my mind....I like to look at how things are shaded, how things are put together, I like to imagining that I'm swimming in the sky and the ground is disappearing under my feet, or pretending that I'm in a painting.......and dreams inspire me. Because some of them are so amazing I can't believe my mind can make them up.

<3 to creating artwork. I don't know what i would do if I couldn't!
