The Great Holiday Purge Sale
Hi there folks.
I hate to blatantly self promote, but artwork IS a very nice gift. Original artwork is even nicer.
This is all original, and all quite cheap.
Please feel free to look and comment nonetheless, even if you don't like to buy. A good pat on the back is often better than a dollar, and I am a puppy: extremely, extremely in need of attention.
Buying is the same as it usually is: find a piece you like. If it hasnt been sold, write “sold!” in the comments underneath and i'll get back to you as quickly as I can.
These are all brand-newly organized: all of them are in my possession and not sold, in galleries, or anything silly.
This past week hs found me sorting through nearly four years of artwork, and damned if there ain't a lot of things I thought I'd forgotten.
And so I've already had my fun with these; making them and what not. But they are just occupying the backside of my chesterfield.
Newer works – that is, work created after the pivotal point of autumn 2008 – will be the same price as always: roughly a dollar per square inch.
Works made before that are real cheap. Some of the works are very large, and many of them, even the old ones, have been retouched contemporarily. But they are still much cheaper than the standard dollar per square inch. I can't fathom charging a thousand dollars for a piece.
Sift through them, tell your friends.
I've tried to asterisk pieces that are made from found wood. These were all done a few years ago and have real jagged edges, which I love, but some people find daunting to hang. This is your warning.
Bigger items – which are stated as such – are going to be real hard to ship, so we'll leave those acquisitions to Haligonians and Islanders, or other folks who could pick up/ I could deliver.
In order from cheapest to expensivest. Ish.
People buying in Halifax will get delivered before December 20, and people buying in PEI also have the option for delivery starting December 20th.
All other orders will be sent within a week of receiving payment (cash, email transfer, cheque, paypal).
Thanks all, and wish me luck: I have meetings set up in Toronto during the holidays with three Queen St. galleries and a restorer who tells me she will make my career. I don't even know what that means, but it sounds exciting!
Happy Holidays.
Love and such.
